How do I create my first interview?
In your Company Portal, set topics, difficulty, and question count, then create a session and send the candidate the generated link.
How long does an interview take?
A standard 5-question interview takes about 25 minutes; a 3-question demo takes about 10. You can configure anywhere from 3 to 10 questions.
What do the integrity signals mean?
Tab switches, paste events, and typing cadence flag when an answer may not be the candidate's own work. They are signals for your review, not automatic disqualifiers.
How is the scorecard generated?
After the interview, our AI analyzes the transcript, code, and behavioral signals to produce per-topic scores, code quality metrics, and an overall verdict.
For Candidates
Do I need to install anything?
No. SViam runs in your browser. You just need a modern browser and, for voice mode, a microphone.
Can I use text instead of voice?
Yes. If your mic isn't available or you prefer typing, SViam switches to text mode, and you can toggle between voice and text during the interview.
What happens if I lose connection?
Your progress is saved after each question. Rejoin with the same link and continue from where you left off.
What programming languages are supported?
Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, C++, and SQL. The company picks the language when they set up the interview.

Is my data secure?
Yes. Everything is encrypted at rest and in transit, and recordings are accessible only to the hiring company. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Delete it from your Profile settings, or email contact@sviam.in and we'll remove all associated data within 7 business days.
